THE PROMISELAND PROJECT

The Promiseland Project is a long-term marketing and grassroots campaign created to bridge the politically driven cultural divide in America. The initiative aims to create opportunities for people to walk in each other’s shoes and spark empathy between individuals and communities. To bring this tenet to life and put boots on the ground, the Promiseland Project will be traveling to cities, big and small, across the country to host conversations on a traveling front porch.

The first location was selected when a dart was thrown by Matthew McConaughey at SXSW, which landed on Watford City, North Dakota. As the project photographer, I documented the various events, locations, and people during the 5-day trip. Selects included here.
